Styling Culottes : 3 Ways

In todays post I will be showing you a few ways to style a current favourite trend of mine: the CULOTTE <3
I have recently developed a major culotte obsession. This obsession started in December, when I went a teeeensy bit crazy at the ZARA sale while I was in Orlando. I am almost ashamed to admit how many I bought that day, almost... This was the first time I was buying a pair of culottes, and I bought about 5 pairs in one go! Ahhh! I had better get some proper use out of these bad boys haha!
Being a hijabi, I sometimes find wearing culottes a bit intimidating since some culottes are super duper short. I always feel like they make me look short as well, therefore I always pair them with some heels!
Generally, I like the look of a tucked in top with culottes. Since culottes are pretty wide, tucking a top in adds a bit of shape/dimension to the outfit. & If the culottes are snug I make sure to add a cardigan or a sweater!
Here you can see how I have styled this pair of culottes with a flowy maxi cardi!
These were my looks for Fall/Winter. At this point I am just waiting to style these culottes for Spring/Summer *sigh* it is so close I can almost taste it..

For the super short ones, or ones with slits, I like to wear leggings inside.
If there is too much legging showing and it is taking away from the look then just add some booties!
